Unhappy Need to gain some weight...

Hey guys, I have a problem...I'm skinny. I cant seem to gain any weight what so ever. I've lifted weights, ate alot, and still cant gain a pound. I'm in pretty good shape. I play hockey in a summer league and I'm wantin to put on some weight for this summer's games. Here are my stats..

I'm 5'9, and weigh 132 pounds on a fat day. I'm 21 years old. These are my goals.

I would like to gain 30-40 pounds before I turn 22 in 7 months.

Is there anything I can do/buy to make this possible?

    Thanks fellas'

My advice would be to post your daily diet in the diet forum...90% of the time diet is the problem when someone cant gain...

As already mentioned diet is essential in gaining mass. threes no cutting corners and no easy rout to take.

As for training three are always steps that you can take to insure progression.

    Avoid overtrainig.
    Keep sets low.
Don’t forget to change things up every 3-4 weeks.
    Always progress with every workout.
Train intensely but keep the workout sort.
Try to minimize the overlapping of B/Ps during your workouts.
    REST AND RECOVER.

Yep..Train hard, eat right, lotsa rest and you WILL gain weight.

There are supps out there that can assist that but without those three you are going nowhere.

30 lbs in 7 months is doable at that weight IMO.

i have exactly the same problem with gaining weight, i can eat and eat and i still have to fight for every gain. the big guys at my gym told me to limit my cardio to only two or three days a week. munga doesn't say in his post if he does cardio but if he does do u think this suggestion would help?

Man you sure know how to kick someone when they are down dont cha. Instead of discouraging the guy why dont you build him up, give him some advise or just dont post some bullshit about how you are tired of reading the same post. If you are so tired of reading the same post then dont click on the ones that say something you dont want to read.
Sorry for venting on you but shit you dont have to be such an asshole the guy is here for help not to get a swift kick to the nut by you.

dont know how you can eat fast food and not gain weight, you need to set up a DAILY routine, eat five times a day, and eating higher carb meals that are good carbs and not this fast food crap. read read and read some more articles about a correct diet. learn nutrition and own it and make it work for you, all the workingout in the world will not help do crap witha piss poor diet plan

I have the same problem. I used to only eat fast food and alot of it. I couldnt gain weight, if i did it was in my gut. I switched to eating steak, potatoes, vegtables, alot of bagles, a few roast beef sandwiches a day and I put on like 15 pounds in 7 weeks. AND it wasnt in my gut for once.

Unfortunately my girlfriend blew me off on christmas(turned out there was another guy) and from being upset and not eatin I lost most of it. Putting it back on though. Now I just need to cut down on eating whoopers but I like em haha
