    db butterflies for mass?

    can dumbell butterflies add any mass to your chest if they are done very heavy with good form or are they strictly for definition? thanks

    They are a single-joint movement for isolating the pecs. Not a mass builder.

    I do them when I am cutting hoping for some definition

    in my oppinion heavy bench pressing or heavy dumbell presses are the best for overall mass in the pecs. I have a pretty big chest and i never do flys.

    I do flyes now and then but I really like dips they stretch the sh!t out of my chest making it feel like a rock
