    When is the best time to lift?

    I am a college student and in the gym it can be busy during the day, I am going to do DC training and hoping its cool to lift at 8 a.m. before class.. Is this good or bad?

    There is no 'good' or 'bad' time.

    well for me it's either in the afternoon or evening. I cannot work out in the morning. I am too groggy when i wake up, and i find i can mentally prepare myself for the workout if it is later in the day. And the workouts are better too than if i were to do them really early. Honestly, i don't know how those 5-6 am gymgoers do it...

    Whenever you can. I like to get a bunch of pro/carb meals in before a lift. Theres really no need, but thats another issue. Anytime is fine. The rec at my school is packed from 5-8pm so I usually go around 9.

    i noticed when im "ON" a cycle i try to keep my body pumped up all day.. then i workout at night till i almost collapse... might be overtraining i dont really care it works for me

    I always feel the strongest at around 4pm or later.

    I really like to lift in the morning not as busy and then feel good for the rest of the day.

    it's a fact your testosterone levels are highest in the morning so maybe A.M. is better?

    I'm an afternoon man myself but Test levels are at its peak in the morning and I beleive that I read somewhere the GH is better released in the afternoon or later

    i would go at a time when ur nutrition allows you too...meaning you are awake..have energy have mostlikely eaten a meal or two and were able to eat a preworkout and then a postworkout meal as they are very important....my buddy has taught me alot lately and one thing is that you work your day around ur diet not ur diet around ur day kinda hard but yields results

    i personnally like around 3pm,i have had several meals by then and feel good at that time of day.

    1:30.... I have enough carbs, and the energy is built up.. the gym is light with traffic.. and the slugs wont be in till 3:30..

    but everyone is different..
