I wouldn't workout the same muscle group twice in one day.

I used to go in for two a days, twice a week. Did it for prolly a year or so. Mondays I'd work chest in the morning, come back and do triceps at night. Tuesday, back in the morning, bis at night. In the end I realized I was just working my tris or bis twice in a day and stopped, but I still never get that same feeling of soreness working them right after my chest or back. Realistically two a days don't make a lot of sense, and I def wouldn't do exactly the same thing two times in one day (like chest in the morn, then chest at night) if that's what you meant.
