    running bleachers for cardio?

    does anyone run bleachers for cardio, i did it on Sunday and about died in this Texas heat, it was 25 steps you go run up then back down and that counts as 1, i do 30, then i will slowly up it to 50, twice a week..

    I take it your not worried about burning muscle, or do you bring a heart rate monitor with you?

    that will be a kick ass routine for sure. heart rate won't be an issue, just eat about an hour before hand...i would almost want a PWO shake for that one, calves and legs will thank you later...

    i cant wait for it to get warmer here so i can hit the track and bleachers up for some cardio. its for sure a good way to get cardio done

    Good poitn Nova, I didnt even look at it that way. Its like doing quarter to half lunges the whole time.

    I loves runnuing steps, and since I hate working legs, this tends to help keep them in shape when I lay off the leg workouts, although I know this is a poor excuse not to work legs.
