    Is there any lift

that should always be done, regardless of how long you have been performing that lift. ie: flat bench..should this lift be in all chest routines, every time, or after six weeks or so should a different lift be incorporated to hit the chest and the flat bench stopped for a time?

I do bench every time for chest but no not always flat.... like to try out incline and decline occasionally too as my main workout for the day.

I also also do leg presses and curls

Def squats, and some sort of chest press i.e. I wont have a chest workout consisting of only flys, dips, pullovers

Keep the barbell in your workout, just switch it up from incline (vary the angles), flat, and decline. You can also do dumbbell presses varying the angles.

def squats for sure, without a doubt

i always do pull ups and deads for back each week, some will argue against this

i also always do incline press every week

no nothign must be in always, for every lift, there is some form of substitution

there are many different squats, deads, benches, cleans, etc

personally, i never do the exact same thing more than like 2 workouts in a row

everyone else has pretty much covered your question. there are certain compound movements that i stick to doing, generally, such as deads, squats, some form of press for both shoulders and chest, and a wide-grip pullup/pulldown for back. but occasionally, i will have 2-4 weeks off these, just to shock my muscles.
