Who does cardio year round?
I've only been doing cardio during april/may as part of my summer cutter regiment the last couple of years. But now I am considering doing it year round for the health benefits and to stay leaner year round as well.
How many do cardio year round? do you do it in the morning on empty, post workout, or when? Do you find it counterproductive while bulking?

I do cardio year round. Anywhere from 5-9 times a week when cutting, and usually about 3 times a week when bulking/maintaining. But I'll only do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach for bulking. IMO, its effects on muscle building durring bulking is minimal if at all and really helps to keep you lean.

Damn Stocky121, I don't know how anyone can enjoy cardio. It's so bleeding boring. Only thing that gets me through it is the new MD's and music.

Oh, well I guess you live on the beach. That's another story. I have to do treadmill at the gym, and I go nuts starring at a wall for an hour.

Im cutting now and I have class too early in the morning and the Rec doesnt open in time. I'd get up at 5am to do cardio if I had to..but it doesnt open til an hour before my class starts and I've tried that before and it doesnt work.
Anyway..I try to do cardio while bulking but i quit 2 weeks into itI didnt get too fat during bulking..but thats because I cheated maybe 1-2 times the entire 4 months of it.

year around for sure. This is the way i see it. when in a phase of getting bigger, i highly doubt that 45 minutes of cardio will impede muscle progress if the other 23 hours of the day are perfect. Besides, cardio makes me eat like horse for the rest of the day. I can eat way way way way way way way more calories if cardio is done every off day of traiing. So that adds up to 4 times a week. i do 20 minutes of cardio after weights also.
when dieting down, im not afraid to do cardio 14 times a week.
also, cardio honest to God is my favorite part of the day. To me, nothing beats waking up earlier than everyone else and having personal time on the eliptical. a nice enjoyable pace at 140 beats per minute with my head phones on early in the morning. its the only way for me to start out the day, unless im training that day, in which im crabby up until the time i train because i know how i have to beat the log book.

I think I am going to start doing it 5 days a week year round regardless of whether I am cutting or bulking. It feels good to start the day off like that

I had a goal a couple months ago that I'd get RIPPED for the summer, but im starting not to care because ive already lost some weight, I know i'll be doing cardio all year round now.
Since Febuary I've lost like 26 lbs of fat...and cardio is just addicting now that im in better shape.
I want to be ripped all year round not just for the summer.
