    Tri's I need some Tri's

I'm sure all of you have that area you hate working on. Mine is tri's. I had reconstructive surgury on my left arm and I cannot extend it all the way. So some exercises like skull crushers cause too much pain in my joint. I've asked around my gym but no one there is really that experienced. Any ideas on what I could do. I don't mind pain but even certain moves with lift weights feels like it going to break my elbow wether its strong enough to lift or not.

There are many exercises you can do with tri's, close grip bench, pull downs on a machine, dumbell behind your back. Try doing some resistance training, that way you can control the movment.

I have to really get my arm extended to feel kickbacks, so I doubt that would work for him. I would suggest decline skullcrushers with and ez curl, as long as you keep good form, you can really burn em without extending all the way.

Thanks for the exercises, I'm going to try them out Thursday. I only go twice a week right now because I don't have my stamina built up enough yet. I'm going to keep an eye on this if anyone else has any suggestions. I'll let you guys know after Thursday which ones felt good and which ones didn't.

When my elbows have been inflamed in the past doing extensions - I was still able to get away with dips and close grip presses without too much discomfort.

Also - try wave loading... you add 10 pounds, back off 5 - add 10, back off 5... and so forth. It gets the joint nice and warmed up...

Hey thanks for the tips guys the close grip bench presses worked the best. The over head dumbell extensions worked good also. The others caused some discomfort. Hopefully now I'll get some badass tri's!
