    ironman and DCs extreme stretching

I'm currently doing Ironman's Hit routine and after a two week, I stop getting sore and wasn't going up much in weight. So I decided to add something to Ironman Hit routine. I added DCs extreme stretching. After adding this, I started to get very sore again, more then I was before . My question, DC said that extreme stretching is suppose to help the muscles recover faster and not be very sore the next. But after adding DCs stretching, my muslces are once again sore. My question is why?, does extreme stretching break down muscle fibers? Just wanted to know any ones input on this

i'm not sure the reasoning behind it, there is one, i just forgot what it was. but the extreme stretching DOES help in recoup time. after you do it for a couple of weeks, DOMS may decrease as your body gets used to it.
