cardio is not a must during bulking.... however, people who use gear that predisposes them to fat gain (dbol , abombs,etc..) or have the tedency to gain fat easily even on a clean bulk (I am) do cardio 3X a week to help minimize this problem!

Anyone that says Cardio isn't needed throughout the year either hasn't tried it or is too lazy to utilize it.. It isn't "needed" but is very beneficial when done consistantly and allows you to consume more calories during the off-season.

Absolutely, and should be performed based upon the need of a specific individual. 15-20 minute PWO cardio works well for me, where AM cardio works better for others. It's very healthy in general to break a sweat at least once a day.

A trainer at my gym told me that if you do cardio on a regular basis then it will allow more oxygen to the muscles which will also cause you to get bigger... Is this a true statement?

no! Plain and simple, cardio is dreadful. If you're feeding your body with the right foods, doing short, high intense workout (recommended)...cardio really is not neccessary (well unless your a lab rat on a pinwheel). Actually the best thing to do is walk (3-dimensional view, meaning outside in the sunlight and not on a treadmill) at a good pace as much as possible (3-4 days/wk). Leisure walks do you're body and (mind) good

He's exactly right!!! How many times do we have to stop an exercise like a set of deads or squats not because our muscles fail, but because we get too damn winded or the lactic acid buildup/burn is too unbearable to keep going. Cardio definitely reduces lactic acid and allows you to train harder IMO, however in the off season maybe 3X/wk for me
