    Stubborn Adipose Tissue Problems....

    Whats the best workout for the adipose around my waist (i.e Spare Tire)? I've been doing side bends with a 35 LB. plate but just seem to be getting more muscle growth there instead of fat reduction. The adipose tissue just won't go away and allow that new muscle to shine. Any help? Thanks!!

    6'5" 242 lbs. 19% BF (down from 23% pre-Thanksgiving)

    How does your diet look? I'd suggest some type of HIIT style training, IF your diet is in order.

    down 4% BF at 242 is about 8-9 pounds fat... how "Pre" thanksgiving is that? Thanksgiving was about 7-8 weeks ago, which means you lost about a pound of fat per week. Which is a pretty good rate, so has fat loss become stagnant? If so, one thing that has made a noticable difference for me is cycling carbs, if you aren't doing that already...
    But I'll bump for ya and anyone else who has opinons, good luck.

    You cant spot train for reduction of body fat. Increase your cardio and reduce your caloric intake and you will see your fat mass drop.
