    missing days?

my routine from a couple weeks ago consited of me going to the gym 6 days a week and looked like this...
    mon-chest, tri's
    tues-legs
    wed-shoulders
    thur-back,bi's
    fri-chest, tri's
    sat-off
    sun-shoulders
i loved that workout b/c i was in the gym alot and its like a second home to me but now i changed my routine to this b/c i was thinking i was overtraining by what other people said about my routine and this is the new one...
    mon-chest, tri's
    tues-legs
    wed-off
    thurs-shoulders
    fri-back, bi's
    sat-off
    sun-off
the thing is is that i feel like im not going to the gym anymore and mind you that all my workout sessions are intense and always have been, i never slack in the gym. should i go back to what i was normally doing or am i severly overtraining. help would be greatly appreciated on this

4-5 days a week seems to be ideal, going 6 days a week is overkill, unless you are on an intense cycle, but even then it seems like too much.

Personally I dont like taking 2 straight days off, I consider leg day a rest day for upper body too so if you agree with me you would be training upper body only 3 days a week.

I like to go 3 days on, 1 off, 2 days on, 1 off = training 5 days a week, 2 days rest.

    sample routine:

    mon-back, bi's
    tues-chest, tri's
    wed-legs
    thurs-off
    fri-shoulders
sat-light workout for lagging parts ect..
    sun-off
