Sumo deads vs. standard style
this thread might belong in the lifting technique forum, if it does feel free to move it. (I like this forum better). Does anyone use the sumo style for DLs, or tried it. What advantages does it offer as opposed to the standard DL style. I use the over/under hand position but was thinking about trying sumo to see what it offers. Any input would be cool. Thanks guys.

I switch it up every week from SLDL to Sumo deads. I personally like the feel of both.

sumo- less back more glutes and
conventinal more back less glutes
imo conventinal hts hamstrings better than sumo, but both exercises willwork the hamstrings indirectly anyway,
i pull sumo for contest lifting, if i was doing deads for BBing purpose or size, i wouldnt use sumo, i would go conv.
