SO what is the consensus? I always change things up in the gym and usually no two session are identical.

SO let's say I start with flat smith press today, and I did so last week too...I know I need an extra5lbs or additional rep on most sets to have gained strength, i.e. mass, etc.....then let's say I used 55 for 2 sets of 10 and 60 for 2 sets of 10 on incline dbell.....if I do 3 sets with 60 this week, is that improvement? Gains being made? Or what if I started with incline used 65s and 70s and then went to the smith. Obviously, my weight wont be as heavy on flat, did I progress? Thoguths?
