is this to much?
hi all,
been working out solidly for the past 2 and a half yrs and my current regime is:-
mon-chest and tri's
tue-legs
wed-bi's and forearms
thurs-shoulders
fri-back
sat and sunday off
work out each day for 45-60 mins
just wondering if any of you would consider this to much(without any off days in the week)?
currently doing a cycle and seeing as my legs are lagging behind was wondering if it would be ok to do another leg day on saturday or would that be pushing it to much?

It would be a good idea to try quads on your Tuesday leg workout. And then do hams on Saturday. Calves on both days.
I do squats and one of the leg presses for quad day. On ham day I may do a few leg curls and then hit the dead lifts. Stiffs and Romanian deads will attack your hams big time!

thanks skank for your reply,
on tuesday i do 5 sets of leg press starting at 150 kilos going up to 310kilos
then on to smith machine squats for 4 sets ending on 120 kilos(this is going on this weeks workout) and 4 sets of leg extentions ending on 120 k.
then hams which i sometimes go for high reps with low weight or low reps with high weight ***ending on how knackered i am after doing quads
then calves.
do u reckon it would be to much to do this twice a week like on tues and saturday seeing as i'm doing a cycle or should i stay with once a week and give my legs ample time to recover?

That same workout twice a week would be to much for me. Thats why I suggest breaking it up. You can hit legs twice a week if you do your presses and extensions 1 day and the hams the other day. But just leg curls is not enough, got to do those deads.
