Cardio Dilemma...
I have a quick ? regarding my workout/cardio routine.
Q: i work to early every morning to get up and do cardio, so i am left to do cardio around the same time that i lift, which way would be the most benefical?
-45 min before workout
-45 min afterwards
-25min before/25min after(which i would like to try)
thanks for any comments and or suggestions.

Cardio is best left after your workout. You burn more fat that way and leave muscle glycogen stores intact.

so should i have my pwo shake after my workout, or after my cardio session?
wouldn't taking it be useless after my workout if i do cardio?

No, it wouldnt be useless, you'll be fine, like M-science said do it pwo, use your fuel sources to your advantage.
another advantage is that if your workout is high in intensity, you'll have higher levels of HGH circulating in your blood stream which acts as a natural fatburner during pwo cardio.

ill give it a shot...
would you suggest taking my pwo shake after workout, then my protein shake after my cardio session?

no, just do your pwo shake when your done with cardio....
if your super paranoid about being catabolic (which you shouldnt cause I do the same thing as a natural ecto and havent lost any muscle) then drink a plain protein shake about 3/4 of the way through your workout or a BCAA supplement will work too.......
this is just to make things easier.

well i usually drink my dextrose /creatine shake after my workout, and usually 20-30 min., later i have just a reg whey protein isolate shake...
so perhaps take my dex after workout, then whey after cardio?, thanks for the help!
