Swolecat's Leg Routine & Deadlifts
I have a question regarding deadlifts and swolecat's leg routine. Deadlifts are definitely one of my more enjoyable exercises to do, but there is no way that I am able to incorporate it into my leg day while on Swolecat's leg routine. At the end of the workout my legs are completely dead, and I don't think it would be a good idea to try and do deadlifts after swolecat's routine, to me it would definitely seem to be overtraining.
My question is when could I incorporate deadlifts into my lifting routine during the week, because I know deadlifts are one of the most important exercises that you can incorporate in your training if you are trying to make nice gains.
Would doing deadlifts on my back day sound like a good idea? That would seem like the best time to incorporate them outside of leg days. What do you guys think?
Thanks

deads are a whole body workout exercise, but the majority of guys do them with their back.
Are you talking stiff legged/ roman deads or full deads?

Yeah I understand that they hit the whole body. Aren't stiff leg deadlifts focusing more on the hams and the lower back? I am going to be doing the full deadlifts.

ya... full deads are mostly done with back.... stiffys and romans are done usually with legs since the focus is on the hams and gluts mostly.
