    what are your chest routines / sets ?

    hey guys im trying to critique my chest routine a little more, currently im doing 9 sets/ week 3 upper, mid and lower (for short) of 10 reps, i was wondering to see better improvement should i up the sets, or lower and what has worked for you in the past thanks !

    heres what i do typically ( with some variation)

    flat db bench 3x10
    incline db bench 3x10
    decline BB bench 3x10

    very simple ya, its worked for years in the past, but now im ready to go more advanced haha, trying to get a feel of what has worked for others in the past

    What you are doing is fine. The incline and flat dumbbells are great mass builders and the decline bench is effective especially if you take the bar to your neck, it gives a better stretch through the pecs. Maybe try adding another 3 sets of a shaping exercise as well as those 3 mass building exercises, like cable crossovers or some type of flye movement.

    how about adding in DB flies, Cable crossovers, and pullovers ?

    any recommendations ? and should i be training to failure or not ?
