I usually work upto about 70lbs then do 2 drop sets. 70,50 then 30s. I guess I could curl about 85-90lbs if I wss going for 1-2 reps?

Its not important, keep your form and the weight will be inconsequential. Use heavy weights for major bodyparts.

I dont know what my max is but I have been curling 55's and 60's lately. Any higher and it would be a waste because my form would be shit.

there seems too much room for cheating on bicep curls, its not like other exercises where you have to keep strict form.
however 65lb db's
or
140lbs bb.

1 warm up
3x8-12 (going heaviest on first set, not the last)
then something like 21s, doing top half first then bottom but no finishing seven. Like top 7 bottom 7 for a total of 14 reps per set. I do 3 sets of that. (again going heavy on first set and decreasing weight)
db 2-3 sets of 12-15. (the only time I do 3 sets of this is when I feel I havent worked the bi enough...hardly ever do 3)
so 8-9 sets total..then 6 sets on the forearm.
thats what Im doing right now...

Don't ever really isolate bi's but last time I did them I could curl 80lbs d-bells for 6 and not sure about bb curls.

I don't do much isolation either. I can do barbell 95 lbs for 4 reps, strict form back against the wall, 100% natural too. Just getting ready to start my first cycle. dumbbell 45's 6 reps. Hammer curls 55's 5 reps. Mostly I work bi's with underhand back work.
