People who train in the a.m....
Curious to know a few things:
Do you wake yourself up extra early to eat and have some time in between eating and training...
What do you eat and how much...
Have you ever trained then done cardio right after and if so...what did you do about eating/drinking then...What happens here, stays here

Wake up @ 7am drink a quick shake and eat about 6oz of oatmeal or mix em together. Pop a dose of eca.
8am another dose of eca and train w/weights for 45min followed by 20min of cardio (when not dieting I skip the cardio)
Right after I step out the gym I have a protein/carb shake. 50g maltodextrin 50g dextrose 50g hydrolized protein.

That's what i pretty much used to do way back when...i have to start going at 5am pretty soon again so i thought i'd get some opinions to see if what i had been doing was beneficial...i'm assuming you go straight from wts to cardio, right? (right...that was a rhetorical question...never mind)

From my readings though no matter what smart ass mood I am in I don't think I could hang with you so I am waving the white flag.

I used to train at around 5.00am and found I was so tired at work I had to give it up but I used to do the same as KS but without the ECA

We'll get her one day. When she's not expecting it. Until then, she is the king...i mean queen.

I like doing cardio in the morning, but my muscles aren't ready for anything else that early. They sleep for a few hours after I get out of bed.

Idealy, I try to wake up around 6am, go to the gym and do cardio on an empty stomach, then eat my egg whites and oatmeal. I go back and train at 11 am, after I've really "woken up".

Working Out in the AM
I work out everyday in the morning. I get up at 4:00 am grab some grits for some much needed carbs and I'm at the gym by 5. After my workout I come home, eat my breakfast, shower then off to work. I spend an hour in the state gym during my lunch hour finishing up anything that I did not get to finish up earlier in the morning. I useally do my cardio as soon as I get home as there is not enough time in the morning for me to do it before I have to go to work.
I find it easy to do as much preparation the night before, fixxin lunches and all.
