Army Ranger training
I think I need some help. Currently I work out like 5-6 times a week. Been doing that for about 3 years. Just weights, no cardio or anything. But now, I am looking to go into the army rangers, but I am in horrible cardio shape. I started doing a little stuff to prepare. Like 100 pull ups, 200-300 push ups, etc. But I still do my weight training.
So my question is, should I just pretty much quit the BBing and go straight for the Army type training, so I don't overtrain? With like one day a week of weights.
Im not looking to get in just enough shape, but to be the best.
Quick stats: 5'7, 175-180Lbs. Not fat by any means, but Im not rocking a 12 pack.

Get this book: Highly recommend for endurance.
You talk about doing countless numbers of pushups/pullups/situps.
This 4 month training program is sick.
Navy Seal program. If u can complete this 2-3 times, the ranger traning should be rather easy
