I just wanted to know whats too much, im a little weighty at the mo, im around 23%BF(if not more) and i wanna hit the cardio, IT TOTALLY SUCKS, but it has to be done.

i dont care about the muscle at the mo, i'll put that on after.... just need to cut then clean bulk.

    5 days a week at 45-60mins. ?

It doesn't hurt to have the occasional Newbie tripping and falling over Weight trees, and using machines wrong either... Little pick me ups like that make my cardio a bit more tolerable

adjust your diet first and start with the least amount of cardio, say 30 minutes 4 times a week. see how much you can lose by cutting some calories and doing shorter cardio sessions. as you get closer to your goals you will need to up the cardio alot so dont leave everything on table on day 1. long cardio sessions should be your last option when diet, training, and short cardio session start to plateau.

to cut down the boredom, I have an iPod Touch and put on a movie or tv show (I enjoy the TV Show Chuck a lot, it keeps you entertained) or just simply do a movie. Its easy to see the screen and keeps you entertained...of course I do the eliptical machine cause its easier on my knees, so theres not a lot of bumping around like on a treadmill.
