    Does anyone agree with this..

I am reading everywhere about this one day on/one day off type of workout routine and I tried it for a week and i just felt like I wasn't in the gym enough. What kind of weekly schedule you all have?

I just finshed that type of routine ( 1 on 1 off ). It was a good change for me. I did chest, delts and tri's and then legs, back and bi's later. I kept my total sets low per workout. I did it for about 2 months. It gave me a little more rest. I gained 5-6 lbs. and increased my bench too. I'm now going to a 1 on 1 off 2 on 1 off routine. Sometimes a change will pay off. Also I mainly did compound sets during the 1 on 1 off routine.

1 on 1 off works great if you base it around heavy deads, heavy squats, and heavy bench....along with a few smaler movents thrown in....but you gotta go heavy or do cardio on you off days to avoid that "I didn't do enough" feeling. Not that the feeling means anything anyways.

if you are going heavy this works best but if you are trying to cut ... then frequency helps stay motivated ....

Do whatever works for you. Thats the most important thing when it comes to deciding on an exercise regime.
