I found a few shock workouts that have helped my calves grow.
First is find a weight that you can do 15 reps, complete 15 rep on either the leg press or standing calve raise machine and do 15 complete range of motion reps, then immediatly do 15 raises standing on a ledge with a full range of motion, anything will work just make sure you can go all the way down, the platform on the standing machine works great, then drop to the floor and do 15 more raises. complete 4 sets
The Dogg Chrap method is also nuts, you find a weight that you can complete 6 minutes of this routine or 12 sets on the leg press machine. start with calves stretched to the bottom, hold for 20 seconds in the bottom position, slow 5 sec raise to full extension and then a slow 5 second lower to the extended position, that is one set. Make sure you pick the proper weight so that on the last set your calves feel like they will explode.
Don't work them out if they are sore and they should be sore for a couple of days if you are working them hard enough, so you should not be able to do them 2X or so and if you are doing cardio 2x will be plenty.
Sorry if I did not explain those well, late and I am pretty stoned right now but hope they help.

I dont know it off the top of my head, but IBd had a nasty calf workout up here somewhere.
I suggest searching for it. When I have time, I'll look and post it up if I find it.

GVT for calves has added about 2 inches to my calves once before, but it sucks!!
I did 10x10 with 2x my bodyweight on the staning calf machine on leg day and then on back day i would go hit 10x10 with 2x bodyweight on seated machine, next week up it by 5 lbs each movement, by week 4 you will se growth if your eating suffeicently. I think arnold did a very similar calf routine.

My Calf workout.....
Standing calf raises - 1 warmup set 5 sets of 8-10 reps... (Alternating between sets with toes out and toes in to target both sides of the calf muscle...)
Vertical Leg press machine calf raises - 3 sets of 12-15 until failure (neutral foot position)
Bodyweight Calf raises sets of 12 until failure 30 second rest between sets....
Cardio on treadmill 20minutes 7 incline walking... low intensity...
See if that helps...

have your training partner take a vid of you working your calves.
ROM is heavily neglected in the majority of trainees.
