    Squats

I can only train from home at the min.Ive got a bar but nothing to rest it on so I can get underneath.I would have to press it up to get it into position. All my energy will be gone at this point and wasted for doing legs.Would deadlifts or dumbell squats still get a decent leg developement?

Power clean to front squat is another option.

How does pressing it up one time use up all your energy ? My concern would be how are you going to get it off your back ? Can you just drop the weight ?

I have this same problem. What i do is put max weight I can lift over my head to get the weight on my shoulders then just hold it and squat double and tripple the reps I would if I had the regular squatting weight. Then Just drop the weight after. If you cant do that then just do what you can do and do alot of it.

When I first started in my room, thats all I had also.

I just used light weights. Well, heavy enough, I was able to clean and jerk, then place it on my back. Went to almost failure, then pressed it back over my head and down.

    It really isn't that bad.

Also, you can do front squats

    Just regular clean and jerks

Hell, even just body weight squats help.

    Something is better than nothing.

    Where there's a will, there's a way

Also, look into buy a kettle bell. those would work with squats also

    lunges...

    ok, now were brainstorming here....

I say throw as much as you can on your back.... then buy a bunch of tens or maybe use 25's... have your wife,or friend, or brother, or parent....throw on the weights little at a time... hahah... good luck, but at least you might be able to get a few more pounds...

anything that I can throw over my head without killing myself would be way to light for a leg workout.....then again anything can hurt with enough reps.

you guys are crazy...just buy a gym membership...if you can't, use your bench and put on 135 on back and step up the bench one leg at a time.

    Valid question.

I'd like to hear the answer to this.

^^Yep. I use this... as a hangclean to front squat... or lunge.

Before, I also did barbell hacks as well:

Another great leg exercise that doesn't require a rack.
