Catch 22, I am sore as hell and want to do cardio!
I swear I have battled this problem for life.. Even when I was in shape a few years ago, no matter what I would get sore, but nothing of this sort.
That said, I am 240lbs now (was almost 260 2 weeks ago) and for the past week I have been biking again.. I can barley walk right now, my legs feel like they are on fire and my ass is killing me (fat ass I am )
So.. I want to do cardio, I want to get healthy again, but I don't think I will be able to ride the bike tomorrow.
What can I do? what should I do?
Thanks all!

im just hearing excuses. man up and get out there. You must like being fat. otherwise you would have the motivation.

why not switch from the bike to brisk walking on the treadmill?

doesn't sound that bad then if your going to the gym, learn to love the pain from training

Oh but its so different with me.. I am not claiming to have something wrong with me (I probably do) but no matter what, I always get sore and stay sore!
I know my friends and old work out partners used to envy that, but I hate it.
Imagine doing nothing more than 20 rep squats on Sunday and still feeling it Saturday..
I do enjoy the back soreness and arm soreness I have from last night though

dont go and kill yourself right off the bat. Gradually increase the amount of activity you do so that you can avoid excessive soreness. The biggest mistake people make when starting a new exercise regime is going all out the first month and battle soreness the whole time.
