    mma and bodybuilding

    does mma affect bodybuilding or muscle size in anyway,i am a hard gainer btw

    The training makes you leaner which in turn may make you appear bigger but in terms of pure muscular hypertrophy it would be minimal.

    would it affect my gains in anyway since i am already a hardgainer,also can it affect bodybuilding in any positive way?

    If you want to train MMA, you will have to sacrifice some muslce...by eating more you will minimize muscle loss, but you cannot completely avoid it no matter what changes you make in your diet.

    Catabolic kid is right, you will have to sacrifice some muscle but, if you really wanna fight you'll do what it takes. If you decide you don't like it you can always focus more on the mass training. When I was training MMA I was in incredible shape. I loved it but, a job change and move brought me to a town where there were no facilities.
