Well I wonder what is up with the pro's training techniques?
Is there something for a natural trainee, there?
1. It seems like every pro quit the set when the rep-speed starts to slow down? Bust out 10 quick reps, perfect form, no slowing down, then one rep starts to slow down and then they stop the set.
(I always train til 1 rep before absolute failure), so I am pushing the last repetitions slowly..
2. They train incredible intensive (And there are more pro's that train with reasonable amount of volume, then there are pro's that are training with arnold type volume).
Not 30 sets on chest, but maybe 12-16 (and those are done quickly), often the training session don't last longer than 1 hour.
3. They seem to always train with pyramiding i.e; 15 reps, 10 reps, 8 reps and 5 reps (just an mere example, but something to that extent)...
Is there something for me to pick up on here, or is it only the drugged up pro's that can get away with not going to 1 reps before absolute failure, and such... Help me out here![]()
