    Cardio after lifting

I used to work out twice a day, cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and lifting on the afternoon, and I take 2 scoops of whey protein 5 min before the lifting and 1 scoop right after lifting.
But I’ve started a new job and I can only go to the gym once.

I’m on bulking phase and I’m intending on doing cardio 3 times a week for 30 -45 min after my lifting. Will this affect my gains, is it effective for fat burning and when should I take my post workout whey protein after the workout or after lifting & before cardio?

i would have a shake inbetween weights and cardio but not include carbs in the shake only glutamine and protein. Then carbs/protein after cardio.

    Weights
Shake (25 grams whey protein, 5-10grams glutamine)
    45 min Cardio
Shake (70 carbs, 25-30 grams protein)

    Thats what i would do.

Your body will use the protein you just ate for fuel, not body fat. Drink the shake after the cardio.

i lifted one muscle + abs
and then did cardio for 45 minutes exactly after lifting
5 days a week for a few months, i stopped so often
due to length of time spent in the gym like 2 + hours

anybody recommending to take your protein shake after lifting then go to cardio for 45+ minutes, obvioulsy has never done it, unless is some special super smooth protein shake, i use whey and i wanted to puke the one time i did it

simply take the shake after you have completed your entire workout

--if u wanna do cardio to burn the fat then you gotta keep your heartrate above 65% of ur age group for a majority of the 45 minutes

also depending on ur weight and age, you'll burn alot of cals in 45 mins so might sure you're replacing those cals while bulking..you could even cut down to 2 days a week, i dont see a problem with that, hard to bulk and not gain fat no matter how clean the bulk diet is
