Hanging Leg Raises
I'm never able to do hanging leg raise with my legs straight, I have to bend my knees. My legs are not week & I do stretch, so why is that?

I really don't think it's your legs being weak that would stop you. It's a core movement, work on building your core up and you'll be doing them in no time.

With your legs straight there is a longer lever arm therefore greater force required from abs.

The key to this exercise is to keep your back as still as possible, if you are swinging than this defeats the purpose of the exercise! That being said I can only do about 10 reps with my legs straight out and can do 20-25 with my knees bent. Straight leg is by far the more difficult movement. Building up your core will def. help!

Most people I see doing these are working 95% hip flexors and nothing more.

Tip is dont go all the way down, but bring ur knees or feet as high as possible. Keeping constant tension on the abs and off hip flexors
