When i work arms directly I do bis after back and tris after chest so it depends
But usually 6 sets for each. Could be less (3) could be more (8).

Pretty much the same here too....
I do 8-12 sets for both bi's and tri's...depending on how intense and how I feel because I like to do chest and bi's together, and shoulders and tri's together

Yes! I hit my 100th post! hah

12 sets for tris and 12 for bi's on arm day. I also do 3 sets after back of bi's, and 3 sets of tri's after chest.

This is just testament to the fact that everyone's bodies react differently to different styles of training There is no "right" way of working out.

I do 12 for each. It seems like alot of guys here do less so I'm starting to wonder if what I'm doing is overkill.

It is not possible to keep maximum intensity across 24 sets of arms.

Perhaps it's time you cut down your volume, and upped your intensity!
