    Will it affect my gains?

I worked out my shoulders and traps yesterday, but today i was boxing for an hour. Do you think this may effect my gains in muscle? i eat 3500 calories a day and its where it needs to be.

how often could i hit the punching bag a week?

It could effect your recovery for sure. How much? probably not much, especially at your age. I'd say you're getting more benifet than detrament. Just be careful you give yourself at least one full day of rest per week.
