how much weight to gain to add calf size

there was a rule where someone on average should gain like 10lbs to add an inch to arms, does that apply to calves as well cause whatever i do it doesnt seem to make them grow so maybe not gaining weight is the issue here, not sure

What's your routine like? I work mine twice a week. Once on leg day with seated raises, and once on cardio and ab day with heavy standing raises. Seems to work pretty good for me.

This reminds me of the dude on mtv years ago that got calf implants. He was such a tool.

Calfs are one of those things that depends a lot on genetics. If your talking about relative size I've often heard calf measurement should be about the same as bicep measurement.

I'd have to isolate it and work it more than the other. I had to do it a while back with my left calf. It was a little smaller (andstill is a little bit) than my right. I did my normal workout, but at the end i went light weight and burned that calf up. It took a little while but it did come along. And when working them together, concentrate on that calf and make sure it's working just as hard as the other. If not harder. Squeeze it at the top just like bi's.
