    Advice on form:incline press/neckpain

    why am I getting neck pain (almost like stiff neck) from incline bench press? what am I doing wrong? please advice on form.

    how bout having someone video tape you doing incline and letting us see it? kinda hard to critique form when we can't see you

    Are you lifting your head off the bench? I do this all the time but have learned to try and not use my neck to strain to lift. It is quite common for someone to lift it off the bench trying to push harder and get neck strains or soreness not so much on incline but is possible, more common on flat.

    Yes, but I try to make sure my head stays in like a tortois but it seems impossible when u are going for a heavy weights,
