lifting on eq, test, winnie
im getting ready to start my second cycle and i have some questions.
my first cycle was a bunch of sust and i was lifting really heavy between 8-10 reps to try and gain size.
no im going onto the test, eq, winnie v cycle and im wondering if i should lower the weight a little and try for say 10-12 reps??
im not looking to get huge like i was when i was on my sust. i would really like to harden up and get cut but still put on some decent size.
just wondering what you guys think.
thanks

I think your cycle is just fine. As for reps, I like 10-12 cause I feel like I'm gaining a bit of size, and also getting a little more definition. Many people recommended i get into 15-20 rep range for cutting, but i didn't really like it. So now I stick to 12 or so.

thanks bro. after my first cycle i went up to 12 reps and felt like i was breaking the muscle down more and getting better gains. going for 8 just didnt do it for me.
thanks for the advice bro

I always shake my head at questions like "How many reps should I do to get cut....."!! You could be doing 50 reps, you still wouldn't trim down. If you do higher reps you train for muscular endurance, where as when you train 6-10m reps you're training for strength. The one thing that will determine how you look is your diet. You could be doing high reps all day long, if you have a shitty diet you're wasting your time. I'm not flaming you for asking this question, but it seems around this time of the year when everybody want's to get "cut up" you alwasy see question about "how many reps". So I personally would stay inbetween the 6-10 rep range, and diet will take care of the rest.

i just started my diet and plan on being on it for at least a month or 2 before starting the cycle.
what you say makes sense. i was just wondering if people change there work outs depending on what type of gear they are using.
thanks again
