Training for a 10km run but keeping my weight and size
Lads anyone have advice for me? I am doing the run for a terminally ill childerens charity here in Ireland so it's for a great cause and want to represent them well to be honest. I am 208lb's in weight and want to keep most of that but maybe loose about 3-5% to cut down Bodyfat and excess weight for the run. What is the best way to do this and keep my size? What diet etc should be run. Or has anyone done the above?

Is it a fun run kind of thing or a competition? If you want to train competively, as in how long distance runners train you will have a very hard time not losing a fair amount of muscle...
How long do you have? You could do some GPP work, which will HELP you gain and just do the run once, it won't hurt you. The GPP work will help you greatly in the gym and the run. But you might be leaving it a bit late..

It will only have an impact (if you're out of shape now) if you've got a relatively long amount of time before the race.
But judging by you using this site, I will assume you won't jump into sterods or anything without being advanced and knowing that you should always be in shape if you're serious about bodybuilding (fitness that is). You should be fine.

Was referring to your post saying you would read the link I posted. Yeah that is confusing now that I read it haha.
The rest was basically saying - assuming you're on this site you must be in fairly good shape, as well as fitness levels. Obviously you would be or you wouldn't be using lol..
