    what angle bench should i use for shoulder press?

    hi, just a quick question do u lot prefer to have the bench placed straight up vertically or more towards an incline angle..

    vertically up seems to put alot of strain on my lower back, but with a slight incline angle, i ffel my chest takin somme of the workload, what dyu u guys prefer

    Shoulder presses are done on a straight 90 degree

    You will see a lot of guys on here using a 60 degree angle on presses. Yes it does use your pecs a bit more but then again you cannot take them out of the movement. I personally suggest using between 60 degrees and 90 degrees on different sets and workouts to hit them from different angles.
