Do Power Naps have a place in BB ing?

Personally I would never take a nap for a couple of hours, wake up, then go lift right away. We all have had that feeling where stuff is popping or tight or spasming when we wake up. Its not conducive to a good bodybuilding experience.

What I would do is wake up, take a protein shake, wait a little, take some caffeine or no xplode, go to the gym, walk on the treadmill 20 minutes, loosen up a ton with stretches and exercises, then go lift. Opinions?

I go to work @ 230am and work till 4pm, then go to the gym for 1 1/2 hours after, and the only reason I can do this is b/c I take a 5-10 nap here and there whenever I can, but I find that taking one around 245pm to be essential to my gym readiness.

Anything longer than 15-30 mins, depending on the person, has been shown to have an adverse effect, making you worse. Keep em short and sweet.

I nap for 20-30mins sometimes. Not all the time, but if I'm tired, I listen to my body.

If I nap its for a minimum of 2 hours. My take is the more sleep the more recovery. A 20 minute nap is a tease, like getting your dik wet and not finishing.

right with you there bro. i go in at 3:00 am , but i get off at 12 noon although 50% of the time i have my little side jobs lined up for the evening usually 1-5pm. i have to nap also 15-30 2-3x day. try to workout at lunch break 8:00am - 9:00am or if no extra work i'll hit the gym at noon. either way i have full access to a weight room on college campus and since budget cuts did away with baseball and basketball i have it all to myself. although sometimes i work around class times u know hard to concentrate with 19-20yr old hot little bodies in front of ya.
