A workout for my job
I work as a firefighter, and my goals are to be as strong as I can be while staying relatively light in weight.(I want to pull people out, but if I go down I want to be easy to pull out) I need my cardio so I can't totally destroy that, and of course I have to look good so a low BF% would be nice as well.
Any ideas? I was thinking cross fit and a little Var but I am open to suggestions. Thanks for your help!
Oh Im 5'9" 180ish right now. Not really looking to go over 195.

Sounds like cross-fit is EXACTLY what you're looking for.

awesome, Do you think a var cycle with it will help me enough to justify the cost?

I think if you do crossfit you wont need the Var.
Var is nice if your rich and have easy access to quality stuff, but it can also F up your blood panels and blood pressure. Unless your getting it by prescription and it's covered by your insurance (unlikely) I don't think it's worth the cost. You can achieve everything Var would do with crossfit......might just take a hair longer.
