Losing weight by dropping an X amount of BF and water while maintaining muscle mass at the same time is possible, both in theory and practice. It is, however, not an easy task for a natural either, especially if you have a crappy diet.

Your metabolism will typically NOT attack your lean mass (muscle tissue) due to your current BF%, but you will have to make drastic adjustments with your diet, whether you like the sound of this or not.

Potatoes will have to be replaced with yams, pasta with brown rice, oats may enter the picture as well.

You will have to forget about eating any processed food, and ditch simple sugars from your diet COMPLETELY.

As for cardio, I would try to do more, frankly.

Please provide us with your full stats so that we can help you out with a detailed diet.
