    Cardio PWO or non lifting days?

    Hey just curious hat you guys think, should you do cardio on your non lifting days or PWO? I do cardio three times a week, and lift 4 times. My current cardio scheme is 40 min cardio 3 times a week. 2 times done on non lift days (8k run in 40 mins) and 40 mins on bike PWO saturday.

    So which schedule do you think would be best, or would they just be the same?

    Cardio done on non lifting days;
    Monday - back
    Tuesday - 40 min run
    Wednesday - shoulders/tris
    Thursday - 40 min run
    Friday - chest/bis
    Saturday - lower/upper body split - 40 min bike
    Sunday - complete rest

    or;

    Cardio done on non lifting days;
    Monday - back, 40 min run
    Tuesday - complete rest
    Wednesday - shoulders/tris, 40 min run
    Thursday - complete rest
    Friday - chest/bis
    Saturday - lower/upper body split - 40 min bike
    Sunday - complete rest

    I bolded the complete rest days to point out the main difference between the two plans. So what do you guys think??

    I do cardio 5 days a week( speed walk , not running) for 30 min a day...IF its to get my blood pumping , warm up, i do it before i start my work out.
    IF i want to loose some extra fat, i change my cardio, for AFTER my workout... i burn more fat that way.
    I also workout 5 days a week, with Wednesday and Sundays off.
    So i guess its up to your goals...what are you trying to accomplish by doing cardio, other then then the obvious ( keeping your heart healthy ) ?

    currently I'm on a lean bulk, so trying to keep fat gains to near zero

    try it after your workout... but dont do the running, do the speed walking for 35 or 40 min.... when i run, i tend to loose some muscle along with fat, so i stick with speed walking

    I've been doing intervals of walking for 5 mins, and lightly jogging for 10. 35 mins total, finishing with the 5 min walk for a cool down. Seems to be working very well without losing good mass.
