INSANITY but just for abs...
im already thin, although not much definition and not in the ab area at all. ill loose 15lbs easy when not lifting. so at the moment im building my next cycle, but looks like its gonna take me longer than i thought....ANYWAYS...my sister just bought the insanity dvd's and ive been thinking of doing them but all i want is to do abs, not necessarily cardio. ive never done cardio since i tend to loose hard earned mass. what can/should i expect if i start hitting this routine? zero lifting at the moment.

It's hard to say what to expect when the only exercise you'll be doing is a choice between two an routines and nothing else. Plus we don't know any essential info. Stats, diet, etc.
But from what you say it sounds like you have a fast metabolism, which is good, but it also sounds like it keeps you from making gains. So...again it's hard to say where you'll end up.
You could see some definition if you stick to it, but there's only so many day a week you can train your abs (contrary to what people think just like every other muscle they need recovery time) especially with the a same constant routine you could plateu fast.
If I were you I would do a few of those workouts a week and include abs into the mix instead of just focusing on them. But really making them pop depends on bf% a few numbers too high and you won't see $hit.

cardio = fat loss especially from the waistline which means easier to see your abs.
You cant really get good abs without doing cardio, cardio is a necessity when getting your abs out.
On another not when bulking your not ment to see your abs

i guess ill just stick to the same thing. my stomach is smooth and hard and no belly unless i bend or whatever. and as far a diet is concerned...i have none. i can eat and eat and still makes it hard for gains. ive always preferred to look good with a shirt on, than look skinny with clothes and have that beach body look. i know that if i start doing cardio, it'll only make it harder to gain size.
