It would be impossible for me to do full body workouts 3 times per week and if you could I would say your not training correctly.

Because working the whole body 3 times per week is over load, when are you going to repair?

Working the whole body 3 times per week is way to much IMHO. There is no way you can properly work each bodypart and recover correctly. When I work a bodypart I WORK it to its max otherwise your not going to build new tissue and is a pointless exercise.

i would have to agree with marcus, i find you really have to concentrate on each muscle that you are working on. Training different bodyparts like that just isnt going to cut it.

ahhhh now we come to the point.. depends on your goal..

if it is building muscle then it is overload as marcus states..

If you are attempting to recomposition and burn fat for glycogen expenditure then yes it will work just fine..

But if you want to increase muscle strength and or size then it is too much..

I think each body part twice per week is plenty and the more experienced you get the less often you will be able to train (due to intensity)

You can do 2x per week (over 4 or so workouts)... You will get good gains and can build a great base but once you learn how to push the intensity higher you will need to train less offer to allow for recovery
