patellar tendonitis from bad form squats.
seem to have got a case of patellar tendonitis from rolling forward during squats on a day I should have just walked away from the squat rack. The cutey doing squats on the rack next to me made my inner douce take over and force out some extra reps when I was already spent....doh!
My question is, how long do you expect it will typically take me to recover with full rest? (from the tendonitis, not from being a douce).

are you sure it's tendonitis, and you didn't screw something up in your knee? tendonitis usually comes from overuse in sports, not from doing squats once a week. 3 days of ice, and ibuprofen and you should be good as new if it is indeed tendonitis.

Hey Kap, yeah Im not positive to be sure that it is. But that's the feeling I have at the moment. Ill be resting them either way until the pain subsides.
Ill make some ice packs tonight and pick up some compression supports. R.I.C.E protocol for a while I guess.
