    My Calisthenics

    hey guys
    My work is now calisthenics

    i havent done weights over a 3.5 week period. and it feels great.

    my workout consist of everyday
    intervals on the bike 30 on 60 off for 30mins

    300-500 push ups(vary flat incline decline cloose wide)
    200-300 pull ups
    200 pull ins(like seated rows)
    200 dips
    then 20 mins of intervals on abs..
    i feel great and i can get through my workouts everyday
    just wondering what you guys think of it???

    Join the Army lol. They will love you here.
    The type of training you do has never been for me BUT I can definitely respect those that do it. It gives fantastic real world strength.

    hah so im just curious to know. will i be building muscle aswell as strength cause i do realise that its high reptition work and it becomes endurance so. are my chances of getting big slim. then getting leaner and fitter higher ?

    Add in some muscle ups, IMO. Fantastic movement.

    Your not going to get huge doing what your doing. If you supplement in weight training you could put on some size though if that's what your looking for.

    muscle ups is my next move im trying to work on but god dam its hard wish i could do it i love it... i know this will get me cut up cause im dead on perfect with eating.. just the fact i think it could slightly add some muscle just bodyweight training.. ummmm

    In order to add muscle to some extent you will need to add strength. If you cannot do muscle ups yet, IMO it will be worth working towards them. Bro, go to youtube and type calisthenics kingz, hannibal for king, etc. You will get some great ideas from these videos. The tough variations will go a long way in stimulating growth.

    yeah ive been watching hannibal brother his the guy thats got me going into it. and givin the weights a skip for a while to see how far this can push me... i gotta find out this muscle up how to work it though

    Try them when you are fresh, bro. Think about pulling yourself behind the bar not up to it. You will get it.

    i will have to get up some pics of how i look from doing it.. and then down the track is say 2 months to compare
