    Going for 1 rep max bench press

    I'm thinking of going for a max bench press tomorrow although I was looking for some recommendations regarding warm up and Target

    Since on cycle I've increased my bench press reps weight. After a good warm-up I'm good for 240 pounds 10 times clean

    So how should I warm up at what should my target be I'm thinking I'm good for an easy 300 or better possibly 310 315

    If my target is 300 pounds for one rep max what should my warm up scheme be 4 most efficient warm up without burning myself out for my one rep max

    Just get thst blood plumped up in the chest and tris ..I'm not sure I hardly max out cuz I train alone

    I'm thinking then some light dumbbells
    50s for 25 reps, and then 185 for 5 reps

    225 for 5

    Then try max

    I personaly I just do a set or two about 12-15 reps. Get psyched and put up heavy weight if I do. Maybe 2 rep max. Sometimes one. But I don't force rep after so I don't drop it on my neck lol ..I like going in fresh and not exhausted at all so I know what I got ..unless I can put up more after I workout more. Who knows

    I honestly don't feel 'warm' untill aboutv5 sets of 12 heavy dumbbells.

    That's when I really start shitting on fools, lol
