Strengttraining better for hearthealth than cardio?
Jason Blaha stated this from several studies he had seen, he said.
He admitted strength AND cardio are best though.
One study at a university, in my country actually, suggested that running just 20 min 3 times a week is best for the heart. More is not better when it comes to avoiding early death.
This fact may indicate the little "cardio" we get from doing sets and reps are significant heartfriendly aswell.
What do u think?

I agree, steady state (hr between 120-140) and lifting is ideal
Lifting itself is probably sufficient, but not optimal

I think it depends on the person and the situation .
if your 250 pounds and jacked to the gills and running a ton of gear , then stay away from things like high intensity cardio
see this post I made about Matt Porter dying of a heart attack at 34 years old
https://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-...when-gear.html
in this situation intense cardio puts too much strain on the heart .. heck even normal people that run 10k or marathons, every single summer you hear about people dying of a heart attack in the middle of their attempt at running a marathon. same with tri athletes.
we always hear of bodybuilders dropping dead and we blame it on steroids . but more of these endurance athletes drop dead at an early age every year then do bodybuilders .
bodybuilding , within reason, is much more healthy then extreme cardio/endurance sports .
I personally just think a 30 minute non stressful brisk walk, or very very light jog, or bike ride . every day is the healthiest cardio to do.
then add in 4 one hour long weight training sessions per week.
then of course your diet and genetics will be the deciding factor..
Matt Porters lifestyle and diet were impeccable . I just don't think he should of been sprinting stairs and doing wind sprints on an assault bike 3 times a day when he was 250 pounds and running gear. way too much stress on the heart imo
