Legs ? per week
I have chicken legs and I am going to start
my second cycle. I would like to know how
many times per week to do legs. Maybe some
work out routines also. ( I did gain some size on my first)

I train legs once a week, usually on saturday.
My routine is as follows
5 set squats
5 set leg press
2 set hack squats
5 set leg ext
5 set leg curls
4 sets standing calf raises
2 donkey sets
1 seated set
This is my new routine, i have been changing up lately.

I like to split my workouts into hams on one day, quads on another every once in a while...just to really kill them.
I'd bump for bigol'legs' advice on this one...he's the one with the enormous hydraulic pumps for legs

I have been doing legs 3 times a week
and I am just sick of it some say this is
over training I agree. I think I will split
my workouts into hams on one day, quads on another.

do it only once a week... and splitting quads and hams..

Yeah, once a week bro. Just kill them. It's a big muscle group, so it's going to take more than the average 'arm' workout, which means it's going to take an even longer recovery time.

Some guys even say once every 2 weeks, but that's not for me.

hey mike you know platz only did his quads every 4 weeks?? I was shocked when I heard that.. but when you BLAST your quads like he does.. you need that much time for recovery.. I can see every 2 weeks..

If your able to work legs more than once a week your not workin them hard enough. My body is drained on leg day. It take at least a full day for them to recover. 3x's a week would mean I could not do anything else but sit on my ass all week.
