My birthday present (think next time b|tch)
Hey guys my girlfriends have a habit of getting me strange presents.
I told her a few months ago that scuba diving looked cool.
So she decided to get me a dive for my birthday, Have a look at the pic to see what sort of dive it was. :S

I think she spent a lot of money on that......... Looks cool. How many people can say they were that close to a shark and still have all thier limbs

Yeah the sharks have bitten nine people. There was 7 big ones.
It was a good rush though, Better than sky diving with i did a month or two ago.

What kind of shark is that? Dang thing looks deadly bro, and hungry.
-

they are ragged tooth sharks ... pretty much harmless .. they are small fish eaters (reef fish).... thats the reason for the multiple smaller thinner teeth... they are very scary looking but very docile animals, of course like anything else, feeling provoked or threatened or scared etc .. can attack.
but most likely wont, hence the dive
none the less tho... WICKED PICS ... looks like a blast!
scratch one off bro.

M PWR,
I did a shark dive before too, and it was awesome. Where did you do yours? Mine was in the Bahamas (Freeport). It was really amazing. The guides start feeding the sharks, and suddenly there are dozens of sharks swimming everywhere around you...I even got bumped by a few. My wife wouldn't go with me...she told me that our children needed at least one parent! If you get a chance, do a dive with a trained dolphin in open water...it was even better.

wait, she bought you a dive or she paid for your certification? Or were you already certified? To get certified takes a while and a few open water dives, you cant jsut go to a dive shop and buy a dive. im confused.

Yea this thread is getting damn near to be 2yrs old. I dont think that dude really went diving like that unless he already had a certification. which if that was the case it wouldnt have been such a big deal, unless he just wanted to show off the pics.

I'm certified. I'd love to go on a shark dive.

Although this thread is old I'll just point out something...the dive is in a dive tank not in an open water area....otherwise thats just not even legal if you dont have a dive license which he doesnt seem to have. To dive in a tank you dont need shit

personally I would have thrown her in water first. Atleast then you'd know the sharks were full and less likely to feed on you.
