Probably not a bad idea. You have to sit down and look at the whole situation calmly as possible. Look at the + and -'s and decide if the relationship is worth saving. Then you tell her what you are willing to take and not. If she can't meet you half way.... you are better off cutting your losses and finding a woman that loves you enough to do that.

That's the ironic thing that's what my talk was about. I am last on the list. It goes kids,work,friends,neighbors, strangers...you get the pic. She is number one (or 2 I'll explain that one in a sec) in my life and I show her all the time in any way I can.

Our conversation was about that the other night I said I don't wanna be number one Gods got that spot and I gladly give it to him just let me be number 2, I don't care if the kids are on my heels in third or hanging on my back, I have to at least be number 2 behind God in my own home.

Well....1Victor....if she can't give that to you for whatever reason, you have to be true to yourself and do what is necessary. Does she go to church with you? Would she? Divorce is never easy....but take it from someone who stayed in a 14 yr marriage 12 yrs too long...(only 12 because it took me 2 yrs to sober up and realize what an a$$ I had married)...you can't stay. If you aren't both willing to work on it....it won't get better. Pull chocks, learn from your mistakes, and find a woman that will hold you dear and treat you well. Maybe someone from your church.

That's the funnt thing she was/is Southern Baptist all her life but doesn't walk the walk with her actions a lot of the time. I was raised a heathen so it's to be expected of me but I think I'm surpassing her in "Christian" terms. We have been counseled by two different Pastors she always improve her behavior and then backslides.

What do I say or ask withour her blowing up? Anyway I slice it she will try to turn it around on me.

Do not blow up as soon as she walks in. It will make the situations worse and it's not good for your kids to see. When she walks in, give her a chance to explain herself and then you take the opportunity to tell her how you feel. Tell her you and the kids were worried.

I would be furious as hell but yelling and threats will not help the situation. If things are getting bad between you two maybe talking to a marriage counselor would help???
